The garden is currently all pastels and green. It's very restful, understated, and lovely. The weather will have to warm up significantly to get to the intense colors I love.

The lilacs have started to bloom and smell heavenly. This is the only one that survived my giant lilac purge. I'd like to plant some darker purple ones, but I'll have to get them from the nursery or get a cutting from a friend.

Last summer I started an entire package of columbine and oriental poppies from seed packages. The columbine didn't germinate well, but what did survive is starting to flower. It's all warm pastels - peach, yellow, pink, and white.

There is one periwinkle/lavender one, which photoshop wanted to adjust to purple.

I have three pacific coast iris. No idea what species. This is the first to flower. It's tiny, about 8 inches tall. I'll be digging this one up and dividing this after it's done flowering. I want more of it and that's the cheap easy way to get more.
