A friend took one look at the blue yarn and called dibs, so I guess that yarn has a home. I've contacted the woman who made it to see if she can make more, or if she minds if I try to duplicate what she sent me. I hope she answers me back, either way.

Here are some more pictures of the other spinning projects.

This is my merino wool/bamboo rayon/silk fiber in Cappucino. I am loving this! The colors aren't as exciting as the blue, but it's lovely. I won't get it's companion done for plying by the end of the tour, but I'll at least get this done.

And this is the Shetland fiber, being spun up into lace weight yarn. This project is gonna take all year at the pace I'm going. LOL!

The last project I have is a group project making kits for "Days for Girls" (http://daysforgirls.org). That's taking up quite a bit of time and energy, too.

I love those browns! Maybe one has to be naturally attuned to the brown spectrum to get excited by them? I thought the blue was pretty but it didn't knock me off my feet.

That dyer makes two 'neutral' greys and browns colors - this one has a warm copper underdone, similar to coffee with cream, the other one has a green undertone, like summer lake water over rocks. I always buy the warm toned one!
