I'm afraid I am no longer willing to be party to the wanton destruction of books by leaking liquid laundry containers. You will have to choose, it's me or put the laundry bottles on the laundry shelf not on the paperbacks! You'll be saddened to know that the loss this time is half your Farmer, half your Cherryh, a few each of Bradley, deChancie, DelRay, and the Canterbury Tales. Why couldn't have been that sexist Chalker trash you insist on hanging on to?!
The eldest has armed herself with paper towels, water, tape, and printer paper to try and save them, but that stuff is corrosive and oily. I doubt her ministrations will succeed in the long run.
Oh, and you need more bookshelves.
